are developed away.

Stamper
Stamper
checked for defects and signal quality before it is used
for

Separation
“Father”
stamper separated from glass master. Using “family”
process , the
positive. “Mother” or negative “Son”
stampers may be plated from the
“Father” depending
onthe volume of discs needed

Electroplating
Metal “Father” stamper, negative image formed
by plating layer of nickel onto
glass maste.
8.
Injection
Molding
Stamper is mounted in the molding
press. Plastic Resin is melted and
injected into a mold to produce a clear
substrate disc. Content from the
stamper is pressed
into the clear disc.
9.
Sputtering
Thin
layer of aluminum is applied to the clear disc by a process
called
Sputtering. Provides a reflective surface
to allow drive laser to read
information from the disc
10.
Lacquer Coating Process
A
Protective lacquer is applied by a spincoating process
and cured with an
ultraviolet light.
11.
Inspection Process
Disc
are scanned by a CCD camera for physical defects.
12.
Label Printing
Disc label is applied by a Silk
Screen Printing process. It has 6 stations one
for each color.
13.
Packaging
We

configurations as per the customer request.
